The First Lady In Chicago On Gun Violence And The Death Of Hadiya Pendleton (VIDEO)

First Lady, Michelle Obama, returned home to Chicago to speak out on gun violence and the effort to pass some kind of (any kind of) gun legislation in Washington DC. Mrs. Obama became particularly emotional when discussing the murder of 15 year old Chicago resident, Hadiya Pendleton, who only the week before had performed with her school band at the presidential inauguration.

As Mrs. Obama said, ‘Hadiya Pendleton was me, and I was her.’
