Mika Brzezinski Takes On 'Pasty White Man Central,' AKA: Fox News (VIDEO)

Today on Morning Joe, co-host Mika Brzezinski challenged the recent sexist assertions by Erick Erickson and other Fox News talking heads (Lou Dobbs in particular). Responding to Erick Erickson’s comment that It’s ‘Anti-Science’ To Not Believe Men Should ‘Dominate’ Women.

While it’s no surprise to see Brzezinski take offense to the station she referred to as “Pasty White Man Central,” it should be noted that Megyn Kelly and Greta Van Susteren of Fox News publicly took offense to their comments as well. Van Susteren did so on her own blog, while Kelly took matters even further by admonishing both Erickson and Dobbs on her daytime show.

Van Susteren lamented.

“Have these men lost their minds? (and these are my colleagues??!! oh brother… maybe I need to have a little chat with them (next thing they will have a segment to discuss eliminating women’s right to vote?)”

While Kelly challenged Erickson’s junk science with this,

“I didn’t like what you wrote one bit. To me you sound like somebody who’s judging and then wants to come out and say ‘I’m not, I’m not, I’m not, and now let me judge judge judge, and by the way it’s science it’s science it’s science it’s fact fact fact fact. Well, I have a whole list of studies saying your science is wrong and your facts are wrong.'”

It appears that all Erickson and Dobbs accomplished was to bring Megyn Kelly, Greta Van Susteren and Mika Brzezinski together.

No mean feat.
